In the evening I found myself very feverish and went to bed; but having read somewhere that cold water drank plentifully was good for fever, I followed the prescription and sweet plentifully most of the night. My fever left me, and in the morning, crossing the street, I proceed on my journey on foot, having fifty miles to go to work. It rained very hard all the day; I was thoroughly soaked, and by noon a good deal tired; so I stopped at seven inn, where I stayed all night, beginning now to wish I had never left home. I have been the more particular in this description of my journey. I was in my working dress, my best coming round. Tomorrow after I need now to go home, I need to change my dress. But while I’m going home I saw many car accidents on the road maybe I think that was cause by the heavy rain.

When I went back home I looked at my car, I did not take it on that day and I don’t know why, but I realized then that maybe it’s because if I brought my car I had also a car accident.
